Baker-Back of House
Monday To Friday, Full-Time
Your Role at La Focacceria:
Working with other team members to help prepare and bake a small line of savoury Italian focaccia and bread (from scratch!)
Prepare various leavened dough for Focaccia and for Bread, using only Italian flour and cold retarding.
Portion, shape, and bake different flavours of focaccia and bread
Familiarizing yourself with the product recipes to be able to deliver quality bakes
Being responsible for safe food handling and keeping prep stations clean as per food-safe standards
Working quickly and efficiently to keep up with the demands of the baking schedule
Occasional customer service: Food handling; Packaging baked goods
Previous experience in a similar role is a must, as is basic technical knowledge of leavened dough products.
